STEP 1 - We need to assign 1 unused IP Address to be put on machine, in order to check which IP Address that unused, we need to ping in the Command Prompt, from the computer, search for Command Prompt. Once you open command prompt, type IPCONFIG to show current ip address PC. As per example below, IP Address PC will be 10.244.40.84. In order to get the current IP Add Machine, you may refer here on how to get IP Address from Machine.

In this example.

Computer IP is 10.244.40.84

Printer IP is 10.244.40.11 (IP Address that already n use)

New Printer IP that can use 10.244.40.X, which mean X can be between 1-254 depend on availability.

The new Printer IP that we can put is between 1-254 under X column, the more number IP behind more better and less likely use by other PC. In order to test whether this ip has been occupied, we can ping the ip address by typing PING IP_ADD on Command Prompt. In this example, we will take number 50 as to be use on machine.

If the output is Destination host unreachable or Request timeout, mean the IP add still haven't occupied yet and can be use as machine new IP.
