How to auto trigger pop-up Secure Print dialog on Windows PC

Guide on how to auto trigger pop-up Secure Print dialog on Windows PC when printing.


STEP 1 - Configure setting on auto trigger pop-up secure print dialog on the Printer Driver.

  1.  Go to Control Panel, Devices & Printers, right click of the Konica Minolta Printer, select Printer Properties.

 

  1. Select Settings Tab, choose Secure Print Settings.

 

  1. Tick Enter ID/PWD to execute secure print and set Restrict for Print without Password, select OK to save the setting.

 

  1. Open the document that want to print, select Secure Print in Output Method. Then Click OK to print out.

 

  1. Pop-up Secure Print dialog as below. Once key in Document ID and Password and select OK, it will be send to User box on Machine.

 

STEP 2 - Retrieve the document on the machine Secure Print folder

  1. On the Printer control panel, click on Menu/Home and select User Box.

 

  1. Choose System, select Secure Print.

 

  1. Select the Document ID to print and click OK.

 

  1. Key-in the Document Password that previously save on Printer Driver, and click OK to open it..

 

  1. Highlight the document to print and click on Print.

 

Important Note: If you are using Authentication on the machine (either User Authentication or Account Track), you need to login first using your printer ID and password before going to the Secure Print folder to retrieve the document.
