How to Install Printer Driver on Android

Guide on how to properly install a printer driver on Android

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Machine IP Address - click Here for the guide on how to get the machine IP Address

STEP 1 - Go to Google Play Store.

 

STEP 2 - Type and Search Mobile Print, look for Icon Konica Minolta Mobile Print.

 

STEP 3 - Tap to Install the Mobile Print.

 

STEP 4 - Open the Application once finish install.

STEP 5 - Click Accept to accept license agreement, and proceed to main page of Mobile Print. Select Printer on the right hand side to add the printer into Mobile Print.

 

STEP 6 - Select + icon on right hand side, and choose Manual.

 

STEP 7 - Key in the IP Address Machine that we obtained from requirement step and select search to look for the printer and install.

STEP 8 - After installation, try to print out a test page to verify if connection to the printer is working. 

Additional Note: If getting an error or unable to print, kindly make sure that the authentication details has been updated on the printer driver before printing. Click Here for the guide on how to update the authentication details on the printer driver.

 

How to Print a Photo on the Android Phone

STEP 1 - Open the Photo that want to print, and select Share on the below icon.

 

STEP 2 - Select the Icon Print from the list of Share.

 

STEP 3 - Select Correct Printer that installed on the Mobile Print Previously.

STEP 4 - Click on the arrow down and choose printing option before printing. Paper size set to ISO A4, by default its letter size, then select printer Icon for send print to machine.

 

 

How to Print a Document on the Android Phone

STEP 1 - Open the Document that want to print, and select Share on the below icon.

 

STEP 2 - Select the Icon Print from the list of Share.

 

STEP 3 - Select Correct Printer that installed on the Mobile Print Previously then click on the arrow down and choose printing option before printing

 

STEP 4 - Select the paper size set to ISO A4, by default its letter size, then select printer Icon for send print to machine.
