How to Obtain Device Information
Guide on how to obtain the MFP device information on the Printer Driver. This will help to update the Device Option on the printer driver depending on what hardware or settings are turned ON for your Konica Minolta machine.
STEP 1 - On the computer [Control Panel], go to [Devices and Printers] and right click on the installed Printer Driver and select [Printer Properties].
STEP 2 - Go to [Configure] tab, click on the [Obtain Device Information] at the lower left side of the window and select [Yes]. This should update the Device Option list at the upper right side of the window.
Notes: You can also manually obtain the settings by click on the [Obtain Settings] option at the lower left side of the window. On the pop-up window, un-tick the checkbox under [Auto], select [Specify IP Address or Printer Name] and enter the machine IP address. Click OK and follow the STEP 2.
Additional Notes: You can also manually set the machine settings under [Device Option]. Select the option that you need to update and select the drop down list under settings.
