How to scan file to External Memory
Guide on how to scan and save document to External Memory.
Save a document to External Memory option is available after plugging-in the Thumb Drive on the machine. Incase this option is not available on the machine, kindly follow this step to enable this function and proceed to below step.
For the Older Machine series / Non I-Series Machine
STEP 1(a) - After plug in Thumb Drive into machine, following message will appear, select [Save a document to External Memory].
STEP 1(b) - Alternatively, incase the step1(a) dialog not popup, you may proceed to [Menu] - [User Box] - [System] - [External Memory].
STEP 2 - Select [Save] without select any file.
STEP 3 - You may readjust the scan setting/name before scan and press [Start] button after everything has been set. The file will be save in the External Memory after scan.
For the Newer Machine series / I-Series Machine
STEP 1(a) - After plug in Thumb Drive into machine, following message will appear, select [Save a document to External Memory].
STEP 1(b) - Alternatively, incase the step1(a) dialog not popup, you may proceed to [Home] - [User Box] - [System] - [External Memory].
STEP 2 - Select [Save] without select any file.
STEP 3 - You may readjust the scan setting/name before scan and press [Start] button after everything has been set. The file will be save in the External Memory after scan.
