How to use Tri Fold print on machine
Guide on how to setup Tri Fold printing on either Inside / Outside of the paper
IMPORTANT NOTE: To use the Tri-Fold function, an optional Finisher FS-537 SD or the optional Finisher FS-536 SD is required to be installed on the machine.
Inside Tri Fold (Address or Name using tri fold will be position inside after flipped)
Outside Tri Fold (Address or Name using tri fold will be position outside after flipped)
STEP 1 - Configure on how to print the Tri Fold using Input / Output method.
- Select [Utility].
- Select [Administrator Setting].
- Key in administrator password and click OK to login.
- Select [Copier Settings].
- Click on 2nd page and select [Tri-Fold Print Side], and select whether output tri fold content is flipped into Inside or flipped into outside.
STEP 2(a) - Do the printing via External Memory
- In this example, we will print a document via External Memory, we will plug in thumbdrive and following message will appear below. Select [Print a document from External Memory].
- Choose [System], select file that want to print, then click on [Print].
- Select [Finishing] option.
- Select [Fold/Bind].
- Select [Tri-Fold], [By Copy Job (Multiple Sheets)], then select OK twice to set printing via Tri Fold.
- Press [Start] button to print a document.
STEP 2(b) - Do the printing via Computer
- On Printing Preferences, select [Finish] tab, tick on [Fold] option, and select [Tri-Fold(By Copy Job)] and click OK to print as Tri-Fold on Output.
