Guide on how to trouble reset the Konica Minolta machine if and when it is giving an error code.

For 8-Series and below (older models)

STEP 1 - Open the front cover or on the side of the bypass tray and Turn Off the Main Power Switch.

STEP 2 - Press and hold the [Reset] button and Turn Main Power Switch ON while holding the Reset button.

Step 3 - Trouble Reset will appear on the screen, press the [Trouble Reset] and wait for the [OK] sign to prompt. Once done, turn OFF the Main Power Switch again and wait for 20 seconds before turning back ON the machine. This should remove the errors on the machine but if still getting an error, please call the customer support line for onsite support.

For i-Series Models (new models)

STEP 1 - Turn OFF the Main Power Switch on the machine. I/O switch usually located on the right side of the machine beside the bypass tray.

STEP 2 - Remove the Key Cover on the rear side of the control panel, press and hold the Reset button and turn ON the machine Main Power Switch. Keep holding the Reset button until a "Trouble Reset" message prompts on the machine control panel screen. Put back the Key Cover on the rear side of the control panel once done.

STEP 3 - Press the "Trouble Reset" on the screen and wait for the "OK" sign to display. Turn OFF the Main Power Switch again and wait for 10 seconds before turning back the machine ON.

ADDITIONAL STEPS:

  2. Plug back in the power cord after 15 seconds or more, turn ON the Main Power Switch and check if the machine starts correctly.
