How to use CardShot option

Guide on how to use the CardShot option when photocopying IC or Punch cards on the Konica Minolta machine.


STEP 1 - Place the IC or Punch card on the upper left corner of the Glass.

 

STEP 2 - On the Photostat Machine, press on [Menu] button then select [Copy].

 

STEP 3 - On the Copy screen, select the [Paper Tray] you need to use and click on [Application] at the bottom right corner. Scroll the application list all the way to the right and turn [ON] the [Card Shot] Option.

Note: If the paper is set to [Auto], a message appears to notify that the paper tray will be switched. Tap [Yes].

 

STEP 4 - Once the Card Shot option is ON it will prompt the settings below. Update the settings according to the card size that needs to be copied. Once settings is done press [OK] then [Start] to copy the card.

For Punch Cards (approximate size only)

  • Original Size 
    • X: 432.0 mm
    • Y: 297.0 mm
  • Layout
    • Top/Bottom
  • Zoom
    • X1.0

For IC Cards (approximate size only)

  • Original Size 
    • X: 90.0 mm
    • Y: 60.0 mm
  • Layout
    • Top/Bottom
  • Zoom
    • X1.0

 

STEP 5 - After scanning the front page, flip the card to scan the back side of it and put it on the same location (same as STEP 1 - upper left side of the glass) and press [Start]. Once both sides have been scanned click on [Finish] and [Start] to process the copy of the card. The 

The Output should be both front and back side of the card will be copied in 1 page as shown below.
