How to use communication check via IPsec

Guide on how to use communication check via IPsec.


This function will allow us to use the communication check via IPsec on the web connection and machine, kindly follow below step to perform a communication check.

 

For the Older Machine series / Non I-Series Machine (Only can perform on the Web Connection)

STEP 1 - At the web browser, enter the IP address of the Konica Minolta device. Click Here for the guide on how to get the machine IP Address. 

 

STEP 2 - Select [Administrator] option, click on Login.

STEP 3 - Enter the administrator password and click [OK].

STEP 4 - Select [Network].

 

STEP 5 - Click on [TCP/IP Setting].

STEP 6 - Select [IPsec] then tick [Communication Check] and click [OK].

STEP 7- Under [IP Address] then key in either IP Address and press [Check Connection] button to test connection.

STEP 8 - Wait for the network data to process.

STEP 9 - A message on the PING status will appear (Completed/Connection failed) and select [OK] button.

STEP 10 - Select [Logout] button to logout from the Administrator..

For The Newer Machine Series / I-Series Machine (Can perform on either the machine or the Web Connection)

STEP 1 - On the Konica Minolta machine, click on [Home] icon, Select [Utility] from Control Panel. (Access from the machine)

**You may access from accessing the web connection also by getting the IP Address machine. You may refer to this for how to get the IP Address from machine then key in Konica Minolta Machine IP Address at web browser, and log in as admin inside the Web Connection.

STEP 2 - Select [Administrator], and key in the Administrator password accordingly. (Access from the machine) Note: From step 3 onward both accessing machine and web connection are same step.

**On Web Connection login as admin mode by key in administrator password accordingly. The next step will be same option on below for check connection using IPSec.

STEP 3 - Click on [Network] then select [TCP/IP Setting].

STEP 4 - Select [IPsec] then tick [Communication Check] and click [OK].

STEP 5- Under [IP Address] then key in either IP Address and press [Check Connection] button to test connection.

STEP 6 - PING status will appear either Completed/Fail, press [OK]

STEP 7 - Select the [Home] icon all the way to exit the administrator mode.
