How to use the ID & Print Option

Guide on how to use the ID & Print Option on the machine.

Overview

The ID & Print function saves print data in the ID & Print User Box of this machine in an environment where user authentication is installed. Because the data is not printed soon, this function prevents printed materials from being missing or left unattended. ID & Print is a feature designed to combine User Authentication and Secure Printing into one.

By default, the ID & Print feature is not available as an output method from the driver. This will require both User Authentication and ID & Print features to be enabled on the MFD before the ID & Print function becomes available.

STEP 1: Enable the User Authentication Settings on the machine. Click here for your guide on how to enable this setting.

STEP 2: Turn ON the ID & Print function, in the administrator mode, select [User Auth/Account Track] - [User Authentication Setting] - [Administrative Setting]. The function only needs the top 2 settings, update the settings according to the requirement needed, see details below for reference:

STEP 3: Update the User Authentication details on the driver and set the [Output Method] to [ID & Print].

STEP 4: To retrieve the print job from the machine, go to [Userbox] - [System] - [ID & Print] for Public Access. User Authentication also have two options to [Logout after Print] and [Login without Print]. Logout after Print will print right away the stored document in the ID & Print folder once login using the correct Username and Password. Login without Print will let you login to the machine without printing the document while the document is still stored in the ID & Print folder.
